Located 15 km southwest of Kinross’s La Coipa mine & 18 km northwest of RIO2’s Fenix Gold Project, the Guanaca property hosts a gold-bearing system associated with a volcanic dome characterized by quartz magnetite veins and banded veins with elevated gold grades from 0.2 to 1.4 g/t. Adjacent to the volcanic intrusive, a copper-rich hydrothermal breccia, with grades of up to 3% copper and 1 g/t gold, was mined in the past.
