The GEMA Concessions are a group of three properties located in Chile’s Maricunga Mineral Belt, an area Cascada’s management team knows well having worked in the Maricunga Belt for over twenty years and discovering the Volcan deposit and the Cerro Maricunga deposit (Fenix Project). All three properties, Marilin, El Gringo and Guanaca , have in the past been the focus of small scale artisanal miners who mined gold silver veins (Marilin and El Gringo) or copper breccias (Guanaca).
